Under the direction of Dr. Eddie Summers, the BE.IN Board of Presidents’ approved a three-year strategic plan in 2015, which currently guides the development and work of the organization. While the Plan is very aggressive, it lays the foundation for increased collaboration and cooperation among member institutions. Within the Plan, initiatives are focused on connecting member institutions to local industry, increasing the number of internship and job opportunities, developing joint academic programs, enhancing the student experience, seeking out cost saving measures and shared services, and branding and marketing for the schools. By 2018, Brooklyn’s higher education sector will become even more globally competitive and Brooklyn’s College Town will be realized. Download the full strategic plan here.
