Live Webinar – Managing Anxiety: Make It Work for You

Presented as part of the St. Joseph’s College Spring/Summer Webinar Series on Personal Wellness and Professional Success, this live webinar will feature Dr. Laura Van Shaick-Harman ’02, NYS-licensed psychologist/NYS-certified school psychologist, who will discuss ways to manage anxiety and make it a positive force in our lives.

Dr. Laura Van Shaick-Harman graduated from St. Joseph’s College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She received the Doctor of Psychology in 2011 from St. John’s University. She is a NYS-licensed psychologist, NYS-certified school psychologist, as well as a distance-credentialed counselor. Dr. Van Shaick-Harman is an active member in the Suffolk County Psychological Association as a member-at-large and chairperson of the Website Committee. She is a lecturer at St. Joseph’s College where she teaches courses in behavior modification and psychological testing. She was awarded the Suffolk County Psychological Association Service Award in 2012 and the Suffolk County Psychological Association Outstanding Service Award in 2014.
